DeJesus Dental Group opened in June 1995. Dr. DeJesus had been practiced in New York City prior to opening his own office in Connecticut. Practicing dentistry three days a week, the doctor also continued teaching at St. Barnabas Hospital in NYC. As the practice grew, he found less time to teach as the demand for his time increased here in Connecticut.
Initially, the practice was small (1200 sq. ft); it had two chairs and one assistant at its inception. Growing steadily, the office now employs over 25 people working in over 5,000 sq. ft. of space. Dr. DeJesus attributes this success to his staff's dedication to quality care and the fact that the office treats all patients as family.
Dr. DeJesus has set very high standards in the practice. He has accumulated hundreds of hours of continuing education and demands the same commitment to the profession from his staff members. Staff members are routinely sent to different continuing education seminars around the country to stay abreast of the ever-changing modalities of the wonderful art and science of dentistry.
